Training and Educational Services

Breaking down storm water requirements and best management practices into practical instruction can be daunting.  D-Max has led many informational workshops and training sessions that provide topic-specific training to industry groups, residents, and municipal personnel, including engineering, public works, and land use planning staff, adjusting its approach based on the target audience.  D-Max has also produced numerous storm water educational materials, including handouts, calendars, and training modules for its clients to suit specific needs or public outreach strategies.

If you are interested in obtaining your QISP certification, our new Qualified Industrial SWPPP Practitioner (QISP) training course will cover required materials and topics, and is taught by two Industrial General Permit Trainers of Record, Dr. Arsalan Dadkhah and Annika Dorman.  Together, they boast more than 40 years of experience in the water quality field, from which they will draw practical examples of the application of Industrial General Permit requirements and successful strategies, to enhance your understanding of the required concepts.  We focus on small groups to facilitate discussion and ensure individual questions can be addressed.  We offer the option to provide training at your facility, for your convenience and so that the curriculum may be tailored to your industry.  These sessions are negotiated on an individual basis.  Please email Annika Dorman at adorman@dmaxinc.com to request a quote*.
